Last night I headed out to enjoy an Art and Architecture walk in the Distillery District. First Canadian Place puts on a bunch of free events during the day and after work and this one sounded like fun. I love the Distillery District and was looking forward to a tour around.
The night was cool and it actually snowed a bit but about 20 people still turned out. (Yes, you read that right – it was snowing in Toronto on October 12 – WTF??) Regardless of the weather though, it was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours on a Thursday night. After the walk we headed to Le Papillon which is one of my favourite restaurants for a late meal. It was a great evening!
Tonight I am headed down to Tillsonburg for the weekend to enjoy a late Thanksgiving celebration with some family. (The sister of my original recipe mother lives in Tillsonburg.) Mmmm, more turkey with all the fixings – oh and maybe another piece of pie.
